Hi Laurel,
Interlochen Arts Camp in Interlochen Michigan is an internationally acclaimed music camp with a vocal division...they have a web site...and enrollment is still open for this summer...it's a tad on the expensive side but worth every penny....good luck...harpgirl
a yahoo search for Interlochen Arts Camp will get you there...

Well, that was easy. They have a web site. click here (there may be a l at the end of that. Not sure. anyway. It's for ages 11 and up. Good luck! and let me know what comes of it, certainly if you wind up here in Vermont.

Laurel, I'll check with friends of mine who run the Village Harmony camps here in Vermont. I know the camps are wonderful, but don't know the age ranges. I have to check in with them anyway, because they are also, FINALLY doing one for adults during the last week in June/first week in July and I want to put that info up here as well.

They do a wide range of music (Balkan, sacred harp, South African, classical) and also do some instrumental and ance work as well. Camps end with small concert tours. I don't think that the camps run for more than a couple of weeks.

Anyway. . . more later.

Susan

P.S. Left you a message in Freedom isn't Free thread.

I'll get back to you this weekend.

Anne Lee

I just looked and looked and looked and didn't find any good vocal camps. I found one place that has show choir camp for Junior high, but everything else seems to be only for High schoolers.

This summer I was thinking of going to a vocal camp for kids, that includes my age group, (12). Does anyone know of a good camp? It is either music camp or French camp.
