Subject: RE: real irish From: Margo Date: 09 Feb 99 - 01:25 PM Dear Cara, Here is a site for you: This is the site of Standing Stones, a musical duo who perform traditional Celtic music. Michael Robinson of the duo has the site well organized with tons of information about music thoery, language, history, you name it. He has a section on Irish. I have emailed him several times and he has always been helpful with his answers to questions. Let me know if you find this site helpful. I'm curious. Margarita |

Subject: real irish From: Cara Date: 08 Feb 99 - 12:29 PM Hello. I'm looking for a site with pronunciation guides for the Irish language. I know a few expressions by ear, but it would be nice to be able to read the threads with Irish in them and understand the words, or at least be able to pronounce them correctly in my head. Even the phrases I know by ear, I can't spell. Help please!! |
