Subject: RE: JULIE FELIX at Seaford FC May 5th From: Strollin' Johnny Date: 03 May 06 - 12:07 AM Julie is still a stunning performer - great voice, excellent presentation, and amazing charisma. I had the pleasure of looking after Julie and introducing her at the Gainsborough Folk Festival last year. She was a very gracious lady and a genuine star - every seat had a bum on it, and she brought the house down. Julie will not disappoint - be there or be as sick as a sea-going parrot. S:0) |

Subject: JULIE FELIX at Seaford FC May 5th From: vectis Date: 01 May 06 - 03:57 PM Julie is one of the great icons of the 1960s and became the first British-based folk singer to fill the Albert Hall. Her traditional and contemporary material comes from all over the world. Her songs are all tackled with the same dramatic flair and intense energy. Watching Julie perform is an absolute joy. If you live in the area this is one not to miss if you are a Felix fan. |
