Celtic Tides - A one-hour music special tracing the history of Celtic Music featuring performances, interviews and ancedotes with today's leading Celtic artists. Hosted by Raylene, Cookie and Heather Rankin of The Rankin Family. The program travels from the highlands and bothies of Scotland, Ireland's countryside and pubs to the keepers of the rich Gaelic heritage in Canada -- in search of todays Celtic Music. Featured performers include: The Chieftains, John Allan Cameron, Clannad, The Rankins, Capercaillie, Dougie MacLean, Old Blind Dogs, Mary Black, Loreena McKennitt, Seamus Egan, Ashley MacIsaac, Mary Jane Lamond,and Natalie MacMaster.
