Rumours are good eh?! You get everything EXCEPT the correct information.
Peeping Tom are celebrating their 35th anniversary in 2007 (it all started
in September 1972), and they are marking the event with a big tour of as
many festivals and venues as possible, all leading up to a big birthday
extravanza towards the end of the year (details to be announced in due
course).
After that, they are not sure. Several of the members play in other bands as
well, so it is likely they will only have limited availability, but I doubt
they'll ever actually retire..
But, if it helps people to book them in 2007, we are quite happy to pretend
that it is a Farewell Tour, and then we can do a Comeback Tour for loads of
money!!!

Which Saturday night dance? Would that be Stroud Oct 7th?

I have just noticed the following comment on the R2 board (best 2006 festival thread) and cannot follow up as it is after that board's bed time..

Peeping Tom is the band for the Saturday night dance, and they'll be kicking off farewell tour at Straw Bear

Have I read this correctly? Are Peeping Tom calling it a day?
