That's probably "Lanky Spoken Here", reissued on CD a couple of years back (also includes contributions from Bernard Wrigley and Bob Williamson).

Cheers for that. I've been on the website and it's been very useful. Just wondered if there was any more up-to-date info

The other three original members (Lynda, Eddie and Colin) are all still around (as is John) but none of them is actively performing these days.

There have been various personnel changes over the years and the latest line-up (to the best of my knowledge) included Andrea Mullins, John Eatock, and Alan Taylor. Ex-Houghton Weaver Norman Prince has been an occasional member, and in between there were various others including Bernard Wrigley. The band does very few gigs these days and I don't even know if they still exist as a band nowadays.

Try here: Fivepenny Piece website - you will find some more info there, about past members.

....what became of the original members of Fivepenny Piece. I know George Radcliffe sadly died and I also know John Meeks released a solo album a couple of years ago.

When I first started playing the guitar in the early 70s, my brother and I - or perhaps that should be 'Brudda' - listened to 5pp a lot. My new found interest in the jolly Lancashire (and Cheshire) fivesome is borne out of my renewed love affair with vynyl. I have dusted down my record player and have begun frequenting the second-hand record stores and jumble sales. And the first LPs I bought? Correct, three near-perfect 5pp ones

If anyone does know the whereabouts of the 5pp members, do let me know
