Had no further info - suspect she is Aussie - it was played on Aust Nat Public FTA Radio - and they DO support the locals a fair bit. I only heard it once - as a 'on topic' fill in a prog, and no locating info was given - they don't always give details on the website of such things, either. And trying to find such info - even in the days of writing letters, often was not a lot of use.

I can't find any song called FRED THE DOG, and I can't find any performer named Kate Rose. Can you give ANY more information about either of them? Is she Australian? Can you find any web site that mentions either of them?
