My telly only goes up to BBC2. It's 625 lines though, and colour too, pretty high-tech, eh.

I'd be interested in seeing live footage of them onstage. Most of those documentaries, about Beatlemania and hysterical fans, could just as well have been about David Cassidy, or any one of those pretty, young dance troupes, which get in the charts nowadays. Frankly, I always found them a bore. So many of those Beatles documentaries focused on the ballyhoo around them rather than on the subject of how the band did its work. Is it too late for someone to make a film about how they created their music?

This Friday on BBC2 at 9pm the Timewatch programme is about the Beatles last ever tour with previously unseen footage:-)
