Well, after July 1st you shouldn't get any ash in your whiskey, at least in UK pubs :-)

Dave Ray died 4 years ago (See Mudcat thread Obit: Dave 'Snaker' Ray has died (Nov 2002)) but I see his web site is still up and running, virtually unchanged, except for the disappearance of graphics. It's even advertising the album "Ashes in My Whiskey". I believe Dave used to personally burn CDs on his computer whenever anybody ordered one. I don't know who, if anyone, is minding the store now. You could try e-mailing them to see if they'll fill an order.

Does anyone know where I can purchase a copy of Dave Ray and Tony Glover "Ashes in my Whiskey" on CD. It seems that it is out of print now. I have it on vinyl but my record player has since gone 6 feet under and I havent replaced it yet.
