Thanks for responding so helpfully. I'll keep that list for future reference.

I was just hoping that someone out there might know that if I emailed someone somewhere there might magically appear for me boxes of unsold Irish books for a pittance. Yeah, and I still believe in Santa Clause.

Alas, it looks like it's too late. Their web site has this announcement:

"We regret that after 40 years of providing books and other items to the Irish American community, IRISH BOOKS AND MEDIA is closing its doors.

We cannot fill any more orders."

Even some links on that page are dead.

I did, however, track down Irish on Grand (in St. Paul, Minnesota) and Kennys Bookshop & Art Gallery (in Galway, Ireland).

Links to publishers, in Ireland, still seem to work.

I just found out that Irish Books and Media closed their doors yesterday! They were the major importer of Irish books to the United States.

By any slim chance, does anyone out there know what has happened to their stock and if any of it might be available at this late date?
