LOL.... no problem

always glad to facilitate networking, especially after hearing how great tomorrow night's concert is going to be.....

we missed out on getting a photo or write up in the local weekly entertainment pullout, so will have to rely on word of mouth & plugs from other organizations....

Sciencegeek, excuse use while we briefly highjack your thread.

Sharon -
I put a full-size copy of the picture at:
http://www.geocities.com/Phil_Doubleu/Transfers/
My son, the professional photographer, was also at the festival. I've been jetting around through time and space since the festival, and haven't seen his pictures yet, but I suspect they are much better than mine. I'll see if I can talk him out of some and send them along.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.

Yup
both groups were great, in different ways, at NTIF, Teada being more traditional than Grada, but excellent musicianship and arrangements in both, and exciting music.

And Uncle Phil- can we get copies of your photos from NTIF for our webpage? The picture you posted of me gorgeous!!!

Sharon

Cool, not to be missed if you are in the area.

Teada and Grada were both at the NTIF. I didn't get to hear Teada at the festival, but saw their show at Christmas and they were excellent. And Grada, wow! They knocked everyone's socks off every time they played. They played the final set on one of the stages --to a sea of empty chairs. Everyone came out of their chairs were singing along and dancing all the way around the stage. It was great. Hope ya'll have as much fun in Rochester.
- Phil

If only we could rely on getting great Irish music for the other 11 months of the year.... but I'm still thrilled that we are getting two fine Irish groups to the western New York area.

And last week we had Martin Carthy, et al.... so life is good
