Mudcatters in the environs of Leicestershire (and their folkie friends) might like to know that Loughborough Town Hall is currently taking bookings for a week-long summerschool to be run by Shooting Roots. If you know anyone ages 12 - 18 who sings or plays, this will be a chance for them to work with fantastic tutors and to meet other young, local musicians and singers.
The dates are 13 - 17 August, 10 am - 4pm daily, and the cost for the whole week is £35. The summerschool is suitable for ages 12 - 18. There will be whole-ensemble and smaller-group tuition, so all abilities will be catered for.
