I attended a concert last night featuring Eileen Ivers and her group, a virtuoso performance that left people howling for more. My question, to our Irish friends in particular, is how her music is regarded there. It is certainly folk-based, but ranges abroad to include a little rock and a little bluegrass. There were several young people from Ireland in the audience - exchange students at local universities. They seemed to enjoy it immensely.
