Holy Moses! I get up this morning, and see a thread saying "Rick's Radio Show OFF the air"!!

Oh my God, I've been fired by CIUT, and they find out first in Australia! My mind whirled as I dialed up the thread..did someone hear me say "shit"(or worse) and complain to management? Have I been playing too many Art Theime songs? Maybe it's those Folk-Legacy vinyl records? They think I'm a man of the 90s (the 1890s!)

Whew, it was only about the internet connection. Saved by the bell. Yeah the connection will be down for a while, but like Blanche DuBois, the kindness of strangers has saved my bacon. Max and his jolly elves (elfs) who have become far more than strangers now archive the "Acoustic Workshop" here at Mudcat. Each week I send a tape of the show (warts and all..thanks, Tony Burns) and in a few days it goes up at the "mudcat Radio" link. This week's show featuring Jaimie Snider, Guy Carawan (and amazingly, No Art Theime) should be available shortly.
Whew, what a scare!
