Subject: Lyr Req: Banks of the Roses - Martyn Wyndham-Read From: GUEST,Wayland the Bard Date: 08 Sep 25 - 03:58 PM I'm trying to work out the lyrics of this song from the 1966 album "A Wench a Whale and a Pint of Good Ale". It differs from the three versions on Mudcat. I cannot decipher some words in verse 5. When I have them all, I will publish the whole song here. The lyrics I am uncertain of are surrounded by square brackets.
