I wonderif one of our Irish friends could clear up something that I need to sort out in my mind....
How do you pronounce Howth?
The place that features in Portrait of the Artist by James Joyce.

On the Dubliners DVD . It sounds like Hoff.
On Wikipedia , it says its pronounced Hohth.

Any clarification gratefully received.
