Uncanny Annie

I am very fond of Ian Dury's song "Sweet Gene Vincent". I just wonder if he came up with the name "Uncanny Annie" (from the line "Here come duck-tail Danny dragging uncanny Annie"). I could not find any references to it on the internet. Then I discovered a recent horror TV show episode had the title "Uncanny Annie" and I wondered if there were perhaps some older reference to it.
