Subject: SOS/midimacapp From: Toad Date: 12 May 00 - 11:01 AM Ok, here is a problem that I've been working on for a year now. I have (after a lot of frustration) finally got an old LCII running as a sequencer. I need this unit to sequence drums and it seems to work (sort of) right now. I'm running 'Midigraphy' but this application is a bit ambitious for the little LCII. So far it keeps up to the music perfectly but the graphics fall behind and if too many notes get play'd at one time then it freezes. The minimum requirements for the 'Midigraphy' app is a Powermac of which the LCII is 'not'. So, my SOS is in the hopes that someone could email me an older midi application that would be a little easier for the LCII to get it's processor around. We are talking 'archaic' here. Or if someone could suggest a place where I could go to download an older program. Amos was kind enough to mail me (physical mail) a box of goodies (and I'm very greatfull. Thanks Amos) which included a mac/midi/manager (which works) but the actual application was damaged in the disk. So I'm still on the hunt. Such is computing. Don't knock yourself out. I realize this is kind of a silly thing I'm doing (trying to utilize a computer this small and this old) I'm stubborn and I hate the idea of discarding, yet again, another computer.
