I once heard a man in a pub recite this, but I could remember it all. Here's what I have:

I'm an ald wee man and I'm proper 'shranged'
And it's the worse that I've ever been.
And I said to my wife one night,
"Do you think should I make my will?"
"Well God knows," says she,
"You're near enough to the grave.
But the truth to be is a puzzle to me.
So what do you think you have to leave?"

So there and then I asked wee Ben
For a leaf of his copybook.
And, he stuck out his jaw and he said, "Now, Da,
That's the second or third you took.
And these books come free to the likes of me
And it's time you was gettin sense.
You can write your will, aye! and write your fill,
But not at the State's expense."

[This bit missing]
So, I sat a while and I thought and I smiled
At the things my wife would say,
If she didn't and found that I hadn't a pound
And I writing my will this day....
[Missing to the end.]

Anyway, as I say I only heard it the once. But, would anyone have come across this or know where I might get the rest?

Dave
