BS: Jerry Garcia Band: Still Truckin!?

I have just seen an ad that says The Jerry Garcia Band ("featuring Melvin somebody") is coming to a club in Ottawa.

Seeing as even The Grateful Dead themsselves had the common dignity to pack it in after Garcia's death 5 1/2 years ago, I find this exceedingly bizarre.

I know Jerry had good players in his band, but I think they need a new name.

What next, "The Pizza Tapes Road Show, featuring Melvin, Tom and Harry?"

(The Pizza Tapes is the album recently put out of Tony Rice, David Grisman and Garcia informally jamming).
