I hope Mudcat will forgive me for starting another thread but I did not want this information to get lost in among all the other messages.

I had a long talk with Theresa today and she would like to invite all who wish to attend to one or all of the following events on Wednesday 5th May. FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS 1.45 - 2.30pm at St Georges Church, Tyldesley .... friends please meet at the Church (directions later) approx 3pm   Interment at .... New Manchester Woodland Cemetary, City Road, Ellenbrook, Worsley followed by Funeral "tea" at THE LABOUR CLUB, ABBEY STREET,LEIGH          Theresa asks that there be no flowers or mourning clothes and that if people would like to make a donation that it be made to CANCER RESEARCH UK. It would also help Theresa, with catering, if those people intending to attend the funeral could let her know (using this thread would suffice)

I certainly hope I can come but I am selling my Bambi campervan on eBay and the auction finishes on Thursday lunchtime, so my attendaance depends on whether things get too hectic. Either way I will be thinking of him and you, Teresa. Hope it goes smoothly.

Thanks everyone for all the love and supportive messages.
It's all systems go for next Wednesday all we need is the sun to shine,the company of a circle of friends and lets rejoice in singing voices.
Late notifications don't worry, come if you can.
If the food has to spread a little further no one will starve, and doggie bags will avaiable if any is left over
But I need the hugs

The messages, cards, love and support was brilliant,and the hugs so so comforting. Bill would have been gobsmacked
On behalf of Cancer Research UK, and Bill, and me, thank you also for all the donations. These are still coming in, & often with no names. Margaret the undertaker will be handling the account for about six weeks then she will let me know the grand total
