Hello folks! I heard a sound sample of the Deerings Maple Blossom banjo on their homepage. It was "Banks of the Rouge Bayou", played by Steve Cooley, from the album "Take me along for the ride", Vanguard, 1992. That tune sounded very interesting, but the sample was only 12 seconds, and I don't have the album.I also have difficulty with picking up a banjo tune from a recording anyhow, so I wonder if anybody can tell me if it has been released in tablature in any book/magazine, and if so tell me which publisher. I've checked Banjo Newsletter's index of published tunes from 1973 to 1997, but I couldn't find it there.
