Subject: Review: Ottawa Folk Festival From: Beer Date: 23 Aug 05 - 08:46 PM Took in the festival on Saturday and heard some great stuff. A group from New York by the name of "Crescent and Frost" (they have a web site)were excellent. 4 in the group. Young lady by the name of Maryann Fennimore as the main voice. Peter Katz I beleive from the Toronto area was also very impressive. There were other great performers but this was just to name a couple that touched me. Was wondering what other folks that went thought and if anyone heard how Kalan Porter did. Also stopped on the way up to Ottawa and met my first Mud catter. Bobad and his wife. Great people. Beer |
