There will be a free St Patrick's Day session at The Schoolboy, Norton, DN6 next Monday starting at about 8.30pm. Everyone is welcome.

Norton is about 4 miles from the Selby take off of the M62 along the A19 heading for Doncaster. The pub is easy to find as it's on the main road through the village.

Hugs
Tig

I understand that there's going to be Irish food and an Irish quiz as part of the evening too.

As the Pope has decreed that St Patrick's Day will not be celebrated on the normal date this year, due to a clash with Holy Week, could you clarify when this event is taking place please.

Simple addition should have given you the date 17th March Guest. The commercial calendar doesn't recognise the peculiarities of the religious calender when it comes to such things as St Patrick's Day.

Are you coming?

We've had a great night tonight which will be repeated on Monday.

News for the non-drivers is that Guiness will be £2 a pint. There's coffee available for the poor souls who have to drive.

I think I might come down and let the Irish half of me out for the night!

It would be good to see you Mouldy. We'd even let you make 'Proud Grandparent' noises and flash your photos ;-)

A great night. The landlady worried when we all piled in that we wouldn't have enough room but now wants us back :-) Thanks to all who turned up both to play and listen.
