Yes, that was the point. It was the night (according to their ads) all the smart birds stayed in and did thier hair.

Wow I didn't know that, I was too young. Actually that's not quite right. In the days when I used to go fox hunting (and I hasten to add that I do not approve of it now) my friend and I emptied out the contents our mums' Amami bottles and filled them with cooking sherry. We slowy got a bit tiddley whilst following the usless Ludlow Hunt try to catch foxes! I must have been about 15, but I can't remember the advert.

So what are you doing tonight then?

Well, that was the issue, Orpington, Tudor Barn, or Maidstone, or somewhere else (I know Rose adn Crown Hoe St E17 is on but it's a trek - what does anyone knkow about thier guest tonght Meuross?)

Its probably too far for you Richard but why not try Maidenhead one week.I still maintain its the best Small club in Southern England.

Every Thursday at The Ferry Cookham,with a lovely view of the river from the bar.

Wasn't it Friday night? It was a take off of 'Friday night is Music night', a programme that still airs on Radio 2....

I remember it, it was electric blue in colour and smelled very strongly. Teardrop shaped bottles with white plastic tops that you twisted to get the lotion out. It never worked on my hair... too thick and springy. The curls just dropped out after 30 mins.
