Could anyone help me find the lyrics to this song? It's been stuck in my head for years, but I don't know who wrote or performed it. It opens with:

"When the evening sun goes down, you're gonna find me hangin' around, Well that night life, it ain't no good life, but it's my life."

I've tried various searches but haven't found it. Many thanks to anyone who can clear up this longstanding mystery.

I have always conflated this song in memory with "This Sporting Life" and have finally disentangled the two of them from each other. Another gold coin for the Cat.
