As you successfully identified Barry Skinner, can you help with another track from my archive? John the Gun, recorded around 1973. I have a whole concert on tape, by someone whose name escapes me at present.

It's me again - The Dransfields played on the original Sandy Denny recording of the song (you can check this via Google) so that is a clue.

I think that is pretty conclusive then, especially since I checked another song in the concert, Lots of little soldiers, which has been recorded by him.
