Oh, I thought that this thread would be about the many cults of technology, and how it seems to have taken over the whole of North American society.

BTW, what is 'diffical'? Is that sort of like 'diffused and differing' or something similar?

Actually, the first time I read this thread title, I didn't even notice the Spoonerism! What a riot, that's even better than calling a cop Ossifer. One of my favorites (yellow creep alert) that I've heard is Dain Bramage. My absolute favorite that I coined is Bat Pukannon {creep ends}.

The famous wedding present of the canteen of cutlery is NOT one to spoonerise, but I did hear a BBC Radio 4 announcer warn of fog at Gatport Airwick..... creep ends? Fat chance!!

yeah, I love spoonerisms too...ain't the language a wunnerful thing...went back to the thread that I posted to (26401- "Help with Protest Songs") and my multiple postings have dissappeared...thanks to whoever...no answer as to why it happened, tho'(?) BB

bobbybuzz, duplicate postings can occur by hitting the submit button more than once, some have found using the back button rather than the Mudcat navigation has caused problems, etc.

As for the removal of the duplicates, Joe or one of his clones normally just delete them as and when they are discovered and this is generally done without comment. The same principle is applied to fixing HTML errors although it is always handy to be made aware of a locked up thread in the Help Forum.
