This Sunday, July 4, I am proud to have a few guests whose names should be familiar to many Mudcatters.

Steve Suffet, Eric Levine, Anne Price will be in the studio to sing some songs and talk about the upcoming Woody Guthrie Birthday Bash. (There is a thread running with more details on this event.)

In addition, Jed Marum will be my guest in an interview/performance that we taped a few months ago. Jed and I will be talking about his Civil War recordings and much more.

I will also pay tribute to Sis Cunningham. I'm hoping Steve might be able to share his thoughts and memories, and I'm hoping for one other guest who worked with Sis and Gordon at the beginning of Broadside.

That is a great story Steve. I would love to talk to you about Sis on the show this Sunday as well.

I can also confirm that my additional guest will be Josh Dunson who wrote numerous articles for Broadside and who worked with Sis and Gordon on the startup of the magazine.   He will be joining us via phone.   

The program schedule is for the Woody Guthrie Bash preview during the 3pm hour, the tribute to Sis during the 4pm hour, and Jed Marum during the 5pm hour. All times Eastern of course.
