Oh dear! They're in my neck of the woods (Lancashire / Merseyside) when I'm down south at the Fareham & Gosport Easter Festival. Pity the band aren't playing there. I'll hopefully catch them at Bury on the 22nd though.

7th April at Huntingdon Hall, in case anyone doesn't know (as it doesn't actually say) this is in Worcester. The venue has the added attraction of having the best raffle prizes anywhere, ever.

I'll be doing a separate posting about it , but the April 9th date is part of a "Day of Music with its Roots in the Tradition" at the Maltings in Farnham,Surrey, which is being run by Electric Voices. The day kicks off at 3pm with English Acoustic Collective and Morris Offspring in "On English Ground", and Bellowhead hit the stage in the evening. There will be both a folk club session and a come all ye session in the intervening period, and food on offer at around five pm. Suggested place to look for full and detailed information about the day is the Electric Voices webpage at http://www.electricvoices.org.uk , where you can also either reserve tickets or book them directly online.

"Will they be 'doing' any folk clubs?"

Unfortunately, the number of members and size of stage & PA etc required rules out most folk clubs. If it was possible or viable we would love to do them.

I should also add that you can catch them this Sunday at Cheltenham Folk Festival.

All the best,

Kate.

Just a reminder that they'll be at Farnham Maltings in Surrey on the evening of Sunday April 9th, teamed up with an afternoon performance of "On English Ground" with English Acoustic Collective and Morris Offspring in the afternoon at 3pm (and for those who've bought day tickets there will be a folk club or a come all ye session in the intervening couple of hours). For full details see http://www.evfarnham.org.uk .

At this moment it looks as though that's going to be the furthest south of London in the south east that either group is going to appearing in their current tours.
