It was called Did You Ever, issued as a single in (I think) 1969. I found the lyrics below using Google, but I'm not sure there quite right. Should give you a start though:

Did you ever?
Not so much, that you can know this
Could you ask maid how many?
8 or 9
printable copy of the lyrics to Did You Ever_ (featuring Lee Hazlewood)
Will you do it anymore?
As soon as you walk out the door
Well I just wonder, did you ever?
All the time

Could I fix you once more?
No thanks I just had one
Then how about a nice big..
That will just be fine
Is there any special way
No, whatever you say
Well I just wonder, did you ever?
All the time

Does he look like
NO he taller and more handsome
Yeah but he is old
Oh no he's young and he's in his prime
Does your father know of it
Hmm. Hmm.. I haven't told him yet
I just wonder, did you ever?
All the time

But just for all time sake
That will be much harder
Then how about
Well are you sure you don't mind
I know just thing for us
I'm afraid I'll miss my bus
I just wonder, did you ever?
All the time

Oops, typo - should be "they're" not "there". Also sorry about including that unnecessary text (cut/pasted in error).

I can't remember the whole song but the start of it is:

Do you ever - not so much that you would notice
Could you estimate how many - 8 or 9

The rest of the first verse is pretty much as Scrump said.

I'll try and remember it all. I used to sing it with my then boyfriend.

Rhiannon

Oh no he's young and he's in his prime
Does your father know? I'll bet
Uh huh.. I haven't told him yet
Well I just wondered, did you ever?
All the time

Just saw a CD by Lee Hazlewood on emusic. I did not notice when it was released.   Among the songs was "Please Come to Boston". He still sounds the same.
