Subject: BS: Saw Jammers Waltz ????????? From: Louie Roy Date: 01 Aug 08 - 04:35 PM Wasn't sure where to post this so I put it in BS. While seaching the web 3 or 4 months ago I came across a tune and I'm not positive of the name but it had the (same tune and words as Rock And Roll Waltz) and some artist in Ireland copied the USA version of Rock And Roll Waltz changed the name to Saw Jammers Waltz or Saw Hammers Waltz or ???? and made a big hit out of the song in Ireland. Maybe one of the members in the UK can furnish some info.I put this in my bookmark but somehow I lost the page and can't locate it again. Help |

Subject: LYR ADD: Sawdoctor's Waltz From: katlaughing Date: 04 Aug 08 - 12:07 AM I'll bet it is, leeneia! Here're the lyrics, Louise, from leeneia's link: One night I was late, came home from a date slipped off my shoes at the door Then from the front room I heard a strange tune, I looked in and here's what I saw There in the night what a wonderful scene, Mom was dancing with Dad to the N17 And oh while they danced only one thing was wrong They were trying to waltz to a Sawdoctor's song Chorus: One, two and then rock, one, two and then roll They did the Sawdoctor's Waltz Rock two three, roll two three, it looked so cute to me I love the Sawdoctor's Waltz Next morning I woke, now was it a joke or was it a dream that I had And I had to laugh as I heard Dad say, lets dance to DJ Tommy K Was it a dream that wonderful scene Mom dancing with Dad to the N17 And oh while they danced only onr thing was wrong They were trying to waltz to a Sawdoctor's song Chorus: |
