Oh Jeez, I booked a flight to Ohio. Frank from Toledo,please send me some "where and how to get there" instuctions. I guess I can drive past the Portland airport and go south on I-5. Looking forward to the time and music sharing.

Shoot, Mudjack, you can come here and we'll point you in the right direction if you promise to make music first. Depending on how you're going, we may very well be on the way. Frank is about 2hours from here, so if you want to come and spend the night and then head down the next day we'd love to see you and the mizzuz.
That way you could give *me* a ride to the concert.
I had my shorts in a wad last week 'cause I thought I'd missed Mr.Fielding. Tell Frank he needs to keep Mike Meyer and Whistlestop (the calendar) up to date -- he had Rick listed for last weekend!

Hi Barbara,JR ,EZR and Kat...
Frank has offered to let us spend the night there and since we are leaving from our home about 11 am. we'll be cutting it close since I think he has us doing something at the library.Thats Friday evening just before the Mary McCaslin Concert. I would love to come by and visit and give a ride. If Frank would rather we drive back to your place for lodging, we might want to consider that option. Will have to hear from Frank, so will remain flexible on this for now.We're driving our car so won't have our RV (bed on wheels).I'll do my best to keep you posted. I hope you were serious about hitching a ride with us.???

The concert is Friday October 8th at 8:00pm at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 383 NE Beech St Toledo Oregon. We are located 6 miles east of Newport Oregon on US Hiway 20. If you're coming north from Portland drive south on Interstate 5 to exit 228 (Or 34), drive west till Or 34 and US 20 meet in Philomath Or and we are41 miles west of that on Hiway US 20. If, when you reach the big metropolis of Toledo and you happen to get lost in our huge city (pop 3300) call me at 336 5743. All Mudcatters get in for half price. Hope you can come.. And Barbara; I called Mudjack and he'll get hold of you for details. I talked to Mary tonight Art and I sent you an e Mail with her address and eMail. She would love to hear from you......... Frank

Before this thread dies a natural demise, thought I'd mention that Mudjack and I are going to do a tribute to the late Jim Ringer, by doing a medly of his songs. We've been working on this from a distance for months and we're both excited and honored to have Mary give us this opportunity to remember a truly great voice from the field of folk music. Hope some Mudcatters will be in attendance....Thanks Frank....
