Last I knew, Big Mick was headed into a pretty heavy duty round of organizing/campaign work. Has anyone heard how it's going? There was a mention of checking in now and then. If so, know that the Catters haven't forgotton ye and are wishing you well in your efforts.

Last I heard he was still up to his arse in politics, not enough hours in the day.

Tired and worn out 16+ hour days/7 days a week. We talked the other evening and the boy admits to still having spirit, but the bod is getting old. He'll be back and around as soon as time permits. I think this may be his last campaign, but he's feisty big mick, our Big Mick, and "quit" just isn't in the blood. But he's ready to pass the energy on to other pursuits.

Politics I can handle, especially since Mick's politics are pretty much the same as mine. The thread title got me worried that Mick was having health problems. Don't scare us, Susan! He was sick and looked like death warmed over the one time I did meet him in October, but he recovered from that.
Come back, Mick. All is forgiven. We miss you.

I caught him on ICQ last week, and it's pretty much how Catspaw said. He said he misses Mudcat and everyone here a lot. I told him he'd better take care of himself.

Yeah Mac, you got us both by a few years. I certainly admire his hard work and realize though that, for me, it would be beyond what I could do. I'm glad his bod and others are more up to the task than mine.

And, when he gets done with that lot, I've a McNab border collie who is looking for a good organiser. Wants to unionise all his buddies who work out on the ranches, no inside jobs, no dog houses, long hours, no R&R and the food is pretty drab, just a bunch of dried up, tasteless kernels the oppressors call "crunchies"! He figures he can pull the lot in and then, expand it to include the other *service* dogs.**BG**
