Heloo, I have managed to get new yeers eve, off work, so i was wundering if, there was any folk sesions planned in the area, 9hull, beberley, or anyewhere else nearby).prefer ably in hull so i dont have to drive, as my job is driving and it gives yoi back acke etc.cheers.john

Don't know of any on new years eve but the one at the sloop at Barton is on monday

Hey Joh9n, there's one near Worksop open on New Year's Eve, is that anywhere near Hull?

And by the way, the singaround on Monday (tonite) is at the Bull in Barton, MK45....

Worksop9 is about 48 miles and a furlong from the Spanish Quarter.

Where is the session in Worksop, what type of music ,who will be there, what instruments etc. Worksop is only 30 mins from me

Hey Bill - As far as I know it's the Kiviton (not really sure of the spelling) Park Folk Club on New Year's Eve & it's very close to Worksop.

I went a few months ago & saw Pete Coe, it was an excellent venue & very friendly! It's at a Colliery Cricket Club (I think) & apparently is EVERY Tuesday whatever Tuesday it is. Sorry I don't know about who or what, may be loadsa people or maybe it'll just be a select few.

I'm coming up from Luton & if you're coming please bring a set of MudCat Cd's and a Patch, coz I'll have my chequebook with me. Maybe others would like some too, you could be flooded!

I'll try to get better location information from Rhiannon & Mick Pearce who will be my hosts & pop it on here!
