Subject: RE: Review: great canadian tunebopok From: Q (Frank Staplin) Date: 06 Feb 07 - 04:37 PM Barry Taylor's Great Canadian Tunebook linked in thread 43700 back in 2002, but never linked in Mudcat 'Links' (top of Mudcat pages). A useful resource, along with GEST, also Canadian, which is linked there. |

Subject: RE: Review: great canadian tunebook From: Cluin Date: 06 Feb 07 - 04:48 PM I always preferred the tune "The Maple Leaf Forever" to "O Canada". Should have been our national anthem. |

Subject: RE: Review: great canadian tunebook From: Michael from Manitoba Date: 07 Feb 07 - 05:03 PM How can one get hold of the sheet music for the tunes listed (for those who need the dots!)? |

Subject: RE: Review: (Barry Taylor's) Great Canadian Tunebook From: Joe Offer Date: 08 Feb 07 - 10:12 PM If you search Mudcat links for Tunebook, you'll see the link has been there since 2002 (Barry Taylor is modest, and his name is not part of the official name of the Website). Michael, if you use a Shareware program like Noteworthy Composer, you can change MIDI files into sheet music. If you want to convert just one or two songs, I'd be glad to do it for you. -Joe Offer- joe@mudcat.org |
