There has been some discussion and some talk that is not quite discussion about percived clique-i-ness at the Mudcat.

I offer myself in response.

Here we go. If there is anyone who actually feels excluded and would like to change that, I invite them to e-mail me for ongoing discussion, and I offer my own friendship as a starting point. And I can give references and samples of letters. I am a good friend when people care to get real.

I can love your socks off, and back on. Love you to pieces and back again. Endless supply.

If people don't have the courage to explore that, then I say they owe five bucks for any further whining.

What are we to make of this? Either there really are no hard feelings about cliques, real or imaginery(sp.). Or no one wants to be in your clique. Or are you being deluged with PMs from the rejected masses?

Hey Guys,

I stumbled in here a little while ago and I do not feel excluded. Hell, even 'spaw took a shot at me. Admittedly it was somewhat weak but I'm assuming he was just being nice to the new kid. I am enjoying "being here" and I hope that you guys are not yet annoyed with me.

I vist here monthly and post maybe yearly. I love this place and am glad it's here. I know nothing about no cliques and care less. The beauty of lurking, I suppose.

You girls! I am NOT starting a clique! (An all-girl Mudcat band or singing group has been discussed, and applications are welcome. Only wild women need apply. (As I am sure you know, wild women don't worry; wild women don't get the blues.)

However I have received two really delightful e-mails from people I am pleased to call new friends.

More would be fine, but I will be out of town for a couple of weeks so they'll have to have some degree of patience!

Naemanson: if you stay away from the controversial threads (read politics and religion) you will rarely get dumped on. Some of us members are pretty opinionated when it comes to either of those subjects. USUALLY, however, even though there be disagreement, there is a mutual respect for the other's opinion.

Praise, I tried to post to this thread on the 28th and my post,the thread, and everything,dissapeared,very frustrating indeed!I beleive at one time or another,everyone will find themselves cliquen with other folks.If you haven't experianced this yet all ya gotta do is express your opinion in a thread,WARNING! everyone will not agree with you,howsomever agreement is not mandatory to be cliquey,just express your views,someone else will do the same,and before y`know it someone will accuse you of bein' in a clique.peace through understanding,-Biskit- CLIQUE,CLIQUEY,CLIQUEN,click.....

Ok, girls, let's start our own clique ... wild wimmen and those who wanna be wild. But ... let's invite the boys cuz it's a lot more fun to be wild when there's boys around. We'll wait until Susan returns from vacation, since she's the one who started this!!!! We can have a prez, vice prez, sexetary, and a joker (any of you boys can apply). We'll discuss relevant matters like ... well, whatever matters will be relevant.
