Help!

Now about (maybe exactly...) the time that the Catbox got it's new MAACO paint job, my home pudder hasn't been able to get in.

What I am getting is the following:

Errot Diagnostic Information

Cannot convert to Boolean (Whatever Bolean is? Is that we talk here?)

Please check the Cold Fusion Manual for the allowed conversions between data types.
The error occured while processing an element with a general identifier of (CFIF), occupying document position (10:1) to (10;102) in the template file c:\webserver\mudcat\HTDOC\newban.CFM

also check that you are linking to www.mudcat.org and not one of the direct server links.

Spaw: Heck, if I had a clue what you justtold me to do, I'd do it. Like I said, I don't know what he heck I'm doing when it comes to pudders.

MMario: Yeah, I've tried to get in with my "favoties" clicky and then tried to type it in and then even found it in a Google search and.....same Error Page

Please try it again when you get home, and let me know what happens. For good measure, do as Spaw suggests, and clear your cache.

Tools - Internet Options - Delete Files (button)

And if you do it as rarely as I do, reboot. That's what it took for me to get in.

yes - but it does do some things that a "restart" from the shutdown menu doe not always do.

Well, then how do you do it? Like manually? Like just push the button until it shuts itself off?

choose "shutdown" from the menu. but make sure that a power off actually occurs.

if it won't shut off by itself - yes, use the power switch and/or pull the plug


I have found that a lot of times if I ask someone to "reboot" they just choose "restart" from the shutdown menu - when what I actually want them to do is choose "shut down", make sure the computer powers off - and then turn the power back on.
