Dennis & I got home last night. We had a grand time singing & visiting in the UK. What was especially cheering was that all along the way Mudcatters and Shellbackers came with hugs, voices, and good wishes - and brought good wishes from others who couldn't make it.

Many thanks to all of you!
Love,
Judy Cook

Judy, I'd have given you a hug on Thursday at Bedford, only Dennis was there! Well, next time I'll give him a hug too...!

Thanks for a great night. I love the way you make your songs come to life: real stories about real people handed down from real people: that's what the Folk Tradition is all about.

Glad you got home safely. See you next time you're here -- don't leave it so long.
Steve

Hi Judy,

Glad you got home safe & sound. Was lovely to meet you both.
See you next year!
Amoret & I sang the pig song loudly as we skipped off homewards on Sunday night (on the road to PERRRRdition).
Thanks for singing all those lovely songs - and for giving us a sense of how the songs have travelled from place to place.

Kris

Judy and Dennis,
Glad you got home safely. I got home on Fri. night kicking and screaming all the way. I wanted to stay. My 4 Shellback hosts, Noreen and Stewart, Carole, Barbara and Andy and Clive and Sheila were incredible and I had a fabulous time. Saw old friends and made new ones. Lots of singing in some great folk clubs, especially Limbrick. It was nice to see you at the National. Sorry we were never in the same place after that but I did hear from several folks that they had gone to see you and they enjoyed it. I can't wait to go back. Hope to see you soon.

love,
k

One of my very favorite singers, our Judy. Congrats on the finish to what sounds like a great trip.

All the best,

Mick

For sure, welcome home. I second Mick's motion. (But remember to boil your water.)

Dennis, I believe my virus is still in my machine--so I will be P.M.-ing you from here at Mudcat. Sorry about that.

Art

Thanks for sending them back. We missed them! I can't think of a better personal and musical ambassador than Judy that we could send over the pond. She's the best. Dennis too. The kind of really good people I wish the world would bring to mind when they hear the word "Americans." Welcome home, dears.
XO
Kath

You're absolutely right, Kath. It's always a pleasure to receive visitors who behave like guests and not like tourists!

Thanks for another special evening at Bedford Folk Club Judy. It's always lovely to listen and also to join in with harmonies to your wonderful songs (my third, or fourth, time I think!). Nice to see you again. CD is good too.
