I know a few catters that are familiar with Portaferry already but its unlikely that many would get across for this gig, just shameless advertising really. Chuck Fleming et al are playing in Fiddler's Green on Tues 6th September. Anyone from locality or further afield who can make it please do. Expect to see you here Kate/Fibula

I see they are playing Sandinos in Derry this Wed. Gigs at smoky Sandinos usually start and end late. Is the group good enough that I should attend anyway?

they were at Irvine for the Folk festival there, they were good, they were supposed to be staying for one night and ended up staying for 2 days.

Hello Folks. Many thanks to Liam for his help in organizing our gig. We all agreed our best night was in Portaferry, where we not only thoroughly enjoyed the concert but we also met some fantastic people. Thanks again to Diane, Spike, Liam, Davey, Kieran,& all the folks in the session afterwards. There's a wee mention in our website where we put in the story of the tour (www.lyra-celtica.co.uk)
