I'm going to stick my neck out and say, I just played Pegs' cd, and, it is awsome! Man, what a set of pipes! This is one talented lady folks, and she can cook too! Her kielbasa went without a trace!

Definitely no waste of plastic here, crystal clear voice, beautiful timbre, great diction and she cooks too. Way too much! JohnB

well thanks, gents and ladies! It is just a four-track demo, and I am preparing (I hope) to do a full-length recording later this year with the help of the Hearthside cooperative (a Mudcat effort). If anyone wants a copy let me know...

Kendall, somehow I knew there would be a kielbasa comment before the week was out!!!! ;)

Rick; thank you for that offer. I should probably wait until the "new" project is finished, since this demo includes other people I no longer work with...I was just handing it around to folks on a casual basis...

Kat: no sweat, sugar, PM me your address and I will pop one in the mail. I am asking folks to include a couple blank CDs or if they want, a couple bucks to help with postage, but the time to "buy" one will come soon enough, I hope! ;)

Peg

Actually, kielbasa is not always very spicy. The fact is, though, that once you've had kielbasa there's no going back to hot dogs. Then again, once you learn how hot dogs are made you never want to have them again anyway.

?? hot dogs and kielbasa are made virtually the same way - just different spices, really.

In kielbasa the meat has some texture left, it's ground a bit more chunky, not down to the consistancy of wallpaper paste. And kielbasa is never "skinless". Yum. Now, when pirogi and haluski aren't obscure, then things'll be going good.

actually skinless kielbasa has been available for at least 15 years that I know of.

pirogi aren't obscure - not when you can buy them in a teeny little town like PennYan - (six varieties)

Haluski - I've had it; thanks for giving me a name to put to it!

so sorry to interrupt the kielbasa thread:

Micca: I will be going away again on Wednesday but if you want to PM or email me before then we can go over that other CD. I might have you burn soewm tracks with the other four all on one CD for them that wants all Peg, all the time...

Q: What do you call a Polish surf and turf?

A: Kielbasa and carp.
