Subject: Thank You Sinsull From: catspaw49 Date: 01 Nov 00 - 08:06 PM Another special kind of 'Catter isn't she folks? A great combo of independence and softness......an iron fist in a velvet glove, but often a mush filled glove as well. Another of my joys from the 'Cat. All this by way of saying that she also sent my boys T-shirts from the World Series......just 'cause she's nice. Some of us have had conversations behind her back and all have agreed she seems to be one of the most generous people we know, giving of far more than money or gifts, but giving of herself. Glad you found this place Mary....We are all better for it. Spaw |

Subject: RE: BS: Thank You Sinsull From: SINSULL Date: 01 Nov 00 - 08:59 PM In the immortal words of my brother, Pat: "She's a doll alright! Glass eyes and a wooden head" You should hear what he had to say about my dimples. Spaw, you've made me blush. That and kicking a cat are the only unforgiveable crimes in my strange set of standards. Maybe it's just a hot flash. Love you guys, Mary By the way, did the boys like the shirts and did they fit? |
Subject: RE: BS: Thank You Sinsull From: catspaw49 Date: 01 Nov 00 - 09:49 PM They liked them Sins.....Michael: "Cool".........Tristan was excited about a train. If its got a train, truck, or plane, its a HIT!! This years Nightshirts and next years t-shirts! They're great and again....Many thanks. Kinda' interestin' the first three people on this thread so quick, huh? You have some diverse admirers don't you?(:<)) Spaw |

Subject: RE: BS: Thank You Sinsull From: JenEllen Date: 02 Nov 00 - 12:51 AM I'm not suprised AT ALL!! This from the woman who found all the information about the HellenKeller school for me--and even offered to meet the student at the airport and TAKE her there as well??? She's a bright jewel in the Mudcat crown indeed!! ~Elle |

Subject: RE: BS: Thank You Sinsull From: catspaw49 Date: 02 Nov 00 - 09:54 AM Like JE, I mentioned we might try to make a vacation thru NE to include NYC and she immediately offered all sorts of things to us. I said something to BillD. about it and HE had a story.................You're pretty fine people there Sins! Spaw |
Subject: RE: BS: Thank You Sinsull From: Sandy Paton Date: 02 Nov 00 - 02:40 PM Would you believe a copy of the hardcover Long Steel Rail for which I'd been searching for two years? I'm preparing a C.A.R.E. package in return, but it's nothing compared to her gift! It will probably embarrass her to see this posted, but... Sandy |
Subject: RE: BS: Thank You Sinsull From: Naemanson Date: 02 Nov 00 - 03:11 PM What a lovely gift. Sins, you are a real doll. the epitome of generosity. By the way, if you should happen to be in such a generous mood again you might send my daughter a 25' Cape Dory sailboat. This would not be for me, of course. She just loves sailing. Really not for me at all. Once she has it she will learn to love sailing. really. |
