Anyone know if she actually got the house deal to got through and has moved in? Last I knew, their stuff was in storage and the phone, lights, etc. were going to be turned off at the old house the next day.

I haven't tried to call, not knowing if her number would be the same, and also not wanting to intrude during what must be a very busy time of adjustment, at least I hope she is busy unpacking and settling in.

I heard from Áine at the end of February and it seemed pretty definite then - I've taken it she's just too busy getting sorted out to risk dipping into the hyper-addictive Mudcat.

It's hard to get the balance right between not bugging people, and giving the impression you don't care how they are. Which in this case would be far from the truth.

Last she and I talked was around March 11. They were buying a new house only there was a slight delay with the buyer of their old one. I knew it would take them some time to get resettled etc., but am surprised not have heard anything by now. Hope they are not having to hole up in a motel while things get sorted out! We did that once with 6 cats, 3 kids and a dog; sent the 2 birds to work with Rog. Lived that way for 2 months before our house was ready AND, I loaded up all the critters everyday when I would take the kids to school. The cats, dog and i would then go to the park for "walkies." And, I wonder what drove me crazy??!!!**BG**

She's in great shape! Except for a few choice bruises in strategic locations and digging in to her new quarters with pickaxe -- literally!! She has thighs of steel AND a new puppy. The last run from Olde to Newe was at 530 in the morning with two kids two cats and a litterbox.

It took four tries to get the cats and dogs into the van, with the oldest cat strtetching out on the dashboard blocking the windsheild!!

She's got a home and she's still got furniture arriving. Telephone poles coming out of the garden, and the Wilsons live right down the street, too!

Besides, Amos sees into the Inner Being of a girl, so if there's any steel in there I wonder if it blocks the view? Lead butt might, maybe... but steel, apparently not.
