Subject: Four Fools Festival From: Barb'ry Date: 19 Jun 06 - 05:04 PM I haven't seen any mention of the Four Fools Folk Festival, which is this weekend - 23rd - 25th June. It's a great festival with lots of superb guests - this year Martyn Wyndham Read, His Worship and the Pig, Niamh Parsons, Pete Coe, Janet Russell, Danny Spooner, Dave and Anni and the Shellback Chorus, to name but a few! There are lots of singarounds and tune sessions plus ceilidhs and morris dancing so there really is something for everyone. (And there is a real ale bar..) The festival is held at Lostock Hall Community High School, Todd Lane North, Lostock Hall, Preston. I will try to do a blue clicky to the web site - here goes! Hope to see some of you there Barb'ry http://www.four-fools.co.uk |
