You need more than one for a TDL tribute?

If it is sufficiently brightly coloured, he will wear it, and bounce off walls and ceiling.

At least I'm not threatening to swing from the chandeliers like you, Don! :)

Morningwood, I will arrive back in UK on 15th and take a few days to adjust to the 4 hrs time difference. Will contact you as you suggest. You will enjoy Deal, they are a friendly lot.
Take your guitar and leave it in the car, that's what I did first time, then go sneak down and get it when you feel the urge.
Al

Swing from chandeliers,?
Yeah thats right?
bring the bloody ceiling down?

Right Richard are we having a Nags session on the Sunday 18th April 2010 because I have a day off that day and I have heard rumor

I have also brought yet another Clip on tuner?
My 12 string stays in tune very well indeed despite old folk Legends that say 12 strings do not stay in tune and one is forever tuning them Nonsense.
but it wont stay in tune until Sweeps I fear.

This next tuner I will secure it to the headstock like a friend of mine has done and that will be the end of losing tuners.
When Richard reunites me with the one I left at his place I will do the same with that on the 6 string. I do not see why one has to keep taking clip on tuners
Off and on anyway might has well leave them where they are securely.
I think its a excellent Idea.
Regards Pierre

"Right Richard are we having a Nags session on the Sunday 18th April 2010 because I have a day off that day and I have heard rumor"

Shame I won't be able to make that date if it happens as I'm going to a weekend workshop in sunny Yorkshire with Stefan Grossman. I must say I am looking forward to it though.

Pierre, the headstock of a guitar is holy ground and should only carry the tuners, makers name, nut, dust and the odd fag burn from that Keith Richards moment. It's not to be cluttered with electronic tuners and capo's etc, it's against the law!! Although if you're at a session and happen to find a pick then it's quite acceptable to jam that between the strings at the headstock in the hope that the rightful owner will come forward and claim the pick. But that's another story...

Paul.

Paul. If there's no session you may want to come over to Grays and sing. Fab Club has a guest afternoon with floor spots. The guests are
Mick Ryan and Paul Downes

The White Hart, Kings Walk, Argent Street, Grays, RM17 6HR

Start time 2.30

Unless the new landlord bribes me (and I don't know when or if he she or it will arrive) there will be no Lower Coke Winter Sing in April 2010.

A weekend workshop with Stefan Grossman! In Yorkshire! I'm from Yorkshire by the way, and you're nervous about taking yr Martin to Deal. Blimey. I'm nervous about playing now when you're in the room.

Al, it's in Pateley Bridge if you know it. It's a bit of a jaunt but I'm looking forward to it. I was going a few years ago but then fell off my bike and broke the thumb and index finger on one hand and the thumb on the other! After that didn't touch the much guitar for about 3 years, and the digits still aint right.

No need to feel nervous around me, it's a case of "all the gear and no idea" I'm afraid.

Paul.

ps Sorry for the fred drift.
