Subject: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: SINSULL Date: 31 Oct 07 - 06:25 AM The Annual welcoming of Sir Micca. This year the theme will be pink (or red or shades thereof). Arrive around 6PM. Food, drink (pink champagne, of course in pink flutes), and lots of music. Who's in? Who needs a bed? Heads up! We may all finally get to meet the mysterious Alba. And I believe I will need some burly men to transport headless Jesus to Maeve's car. Now off to plan some pink food. Salmon? Jell-O? I am at a loss... Locals - come early. I plan to decorate Micca's "nest" appropriately. Anyone have an 8' pink teddy bear? SINS |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: curmudgeon Date: 31 Oct 07 - 07:05 AM Linn and I will most assuredly be there, and in need of a bed. I will be happy to assist in the moiving of HJ to Maev's car, but I do not wear pink, nor do I eat or drink same - Tom |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: ranger1 Date: 31 Oct 07 - 07:43 AM Tom, just put a pink carnation in your lapel. Trust me, you don't want to know what they'll drape you in otherwise! |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: GUEST,SINS Date: 31 Oct 07 - 08:09 AM Wise advice Tami. Even Seamus will wear pink. As will George. I have seen you eat salmon, Tom, and crab - both pinkish. If I could manage not to incinerate a roast, the center would be pink. An underdone turkey would be as well... |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: maeve Date: 31 Oct 07 - 08:12 AM Sinsull, would you kindly enlighten those of us who were not privy to earlier visits with the Illustrious Micca? What's this all about? maeve, with a pink face |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: Bat Goddess Date: 31 Oct 07 - 09:53 AM You SAID pink or red or shades thereof...Tom is NOT a pinko -- he's a RED! I think the only pink article of apparel that I own are a pair of pink flamingo slippers -- that are absolutely suicidal (especially if stairs are involved) to wear. The red cat likes to play with them, though... Oh, Maeve, Micca enjoys the color pink about as much as Tom does. Linn |

Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: GUEST,SINS Date: 31 Oct 07 - 11:35 AM Thank you, Snail. I may have one or two of those on hand for those who show up pinkless. Linn - YOU LIE! I know for a fact that you have a PINK Flamingo costume that runs on batteries. Maeve - Micca is our annual visitor from the UK known mostly for his rendition of the Gladiator Song and a bare-assed waltz through the co-ed bathrooms at Ramblewood. His yearly trek through the Northeast is eagerly awaited by a number of us 'Catters. You will love him! M |

Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: wysiwyg Date: 31 Oct 07 - 12:43 PM Pink food, hm, that would be cream (or bisque) of tomato soup, strawberry jello or pudding whipped with whipped cream, strawberry jam on top of vanilla ice cream. Chili with sour cream stirred in, borscht, pickled eggs.... Brie with strawberry or raspberry on the side, cream cheese drizzled with salsa..... there's a nice chipotle cream sauce with cheese melted in.... Isn't there a drink called a Pink Flamingo? Strawberry frozen daiquiri... raspberry-sherbeted punch..... ~Susan |

Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: GUEST,SINS Date: 01 Nov 07 - 07:58 AM Somehow, I think Tom could open can of Campbell's Pork and Beans, add hot dogs and make it wonderful. So it is Pink Chicken after all! |

Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: GUEST,SINS Date: 02 Nov 07 - 12:36 PM They are kindling when Barry is around. LOL Pink walls have to better than sage green, Jeri. Maybe we can just spill it all over the driveway and roll in it. |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: GUEST Date: 02 Nov 07 - 12:37 PM Wonder if my Mary Kay lady would be willing to park her pink Cadillac in my driveway. It is BRIGHT!!!!PINK!!!!!!! |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: katlaughing Date: 03 Nov 07 - 03:28 AM Don't forget pink marshmallows. At least they used to have them! Too bad there's no Easter candy available those nauseating sugar bunnies and chicks some in pink. The best thing for Micca, though, would be to drink champagne out of a very pretty pink glass slipper.:-) |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: SINSULL Date: 03 Nov 07 - 09:43 AM OMG!!! I forgot about the hideous shoe in a violently nasty shade of mauve left over from a previous Getaway. About a Woman's size 16 EEEEE. Perfect! |

Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: SINSULL Date: 04 Nov 07 - 05:25 PM I'm BLIND! I'm BLIND!!!!! Just began the decorating of Micca's quarters. He'll be lucky if he can sleep in there. Now all I need is a 10' pink flamingo...LINN??? |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: Alba Date: 04 Nov 07 - 05:46 PM OOOOOOOOOOOH this is now without a doubt Sinsull's Pinkstock Song Sircle! Is there a spare sleeping space available for me at the Sing~In Mary? ( a non pink space will be fine..*smile*) |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: Bat Goddess Date: 04 Nov 07 - 07:50 PM Oh. Ma. Gawd!!! Well, I happen to be the proud possessor (?) of a 7 foot tall (3 foot wide) wildly pink stuffed flamingo. There IS a photo around somewhere of Micca in its embrace a few years ago. (It's been pining, pining...) It's currently living in a wing chair in the living room -- no room in the guest room (unless I find a home for a LOT more chaserai). (My theory of housekeeping is that if you have a giant pink stuffed flamingo around, nobody notices that the house is an ungodly mess. So far it's worked.) Micca, with luck, by next weekend you should be able to get to the guest room bed. Linn |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: SINSULL Date: 05 Nov 07 - 06:20 AM There is always a bed for you, Holly. Bring some pears - Jacqui asked. |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: Jeri Date: 05 Nov 07 - 06:35 AM Mary: Alba, not Maeve. No pears. Songs. Fragmentified sentences. Hate pink. |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: maeve Date: 05 Nov 07 - 07:03 AM Sinsull- I do plan to come (weather permitting), I don't need a bed (church in the morning) and I expect to take yon disjointed statue along home with me (Happy Belated Birthday)! We've very few pears left, sorry Jacqui! I don't do pink except in the garden, but will consider appropriate potluck donations. maeve |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: GUEST,SINS at work Date: 05 Nov 07 - 08:03 AM I should never post before having my second cup of coffee in the AM. Alba, the bedroom upstairs is reserved for you. Alas, not pink. But I am told the bed is warm and comfortable. Should be a crowd - Jacqui and Kendall, Deborah and Tom, Linn and Tom, Jeri, Alba, Maeve, ME, Tami and Jason, Micca (of course), Maine Dog,Barry (?),... Anyone else? M |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: MaineDog Date: 05 Nov 07 - 03:51 PM Looks like I could come between 6 and 8 or so. How are you with dogs? Dex & Jim |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: Sorcha Date: 05 Nov 07 - 04:09 PM Ham is pink! And you could sing breast songs.....or set up some fine for either singing breast songs or not singing them. Donate it to the Breast Cancer fund! Magnetic pink ribbons for every vehicle! Pink bows for the instruments and cases! GOOOOO Pink! |
Subject: RE: Pink Song Circle at SINSULL's 11/10 From: SINSULL Date: 05 Nov 07 - 07:52 PM If the dogs behave in a crowd (behave is loosely defined as not biting or pooping) and if they get along reasonably with cats, they are welcome. The backyard is fenced in so they can run - keep in mind the skunk is still in residence. There is always kibble and water and champagne for well behaved canines. I am fascinated by the decorating possibilities of Pink Post-It Notes. SINS |
