Apparently this is serious. I heard a snippet of it on the radio this morning in which mum says to the young Shane:-

"Son, it's your destiny to crush the poms."

They played an extract which sounded like it was being sung by the Mrs Ackroyd Band. Anyone else heard it?

Actually, I meant the title was serious, although, as has been pointed out, there is more than a bit of irony in the production.

Goatfell, Let he who be without sin cast the first stone, and despite the fact he played for the Aussie's he was one of the finest cricketers of his (and many others)generation.

I heard a bit on the six o'clock news last night...and it sounds like a load of old tosh!....but I reckon there weren't many better bowlers in the last few years. Good Bloke. shame about the Musical(??)...I think the composer was 'aving a bit of a laugh!

I don't like cricket because I findit boring, but then you have the bes criketer that ever there was DON BRADMAN a fellow Aussie, now there was a cricketer, but no movies/musicals about him, and he did wear bloody helmets when he was batting.
