theres this guitarist and he plays these open tunings man - and you know it removes all the need for formal technique. Just plays these sub atomic cadences and it sounds great when you're really chilled out.

And in a way I bet Irish music was like that before they got all tight assed and and the Catholic Church took over it. You can see it when they dance - you know jumping about, like Africans. And Davy Graham and Brian Jones himself went to Africa. Sympathy for the Devil, man!

If you go Morroco, you can still see these cats beating out rhythms on cardboard boxes, a bit like the Irish bodhrans. On an astral plane - it all related.

This festival sounds really cosmic.

You can laugh, but I heard that Froots gave this cat's album six stars. Cool shit like the Chieftains and Christy Moore gets like five stars, but this guy got SIX!

Apparently that Anderson bloke said, this is complete balls. Cos you know even he could see it was the music of the spheres. he could relate to it man.

And they had this temp in, that Brook Street had sent round - so they let her write the review. Sometimes the untutored mind just sees things that bit clearer.... I've always held to that.

Anyway The Guardian saw the review and this chick's working for them now. Only she got fired, cos she could really spell, and they like to keep it a bit loose at The Guardian. One time none of the words fitted the crossword. they were just giving the readers an extra dimension of freedom, they could edit all the words themselves...cut bits out if they felt like it.

Cool about the gig, I'll tell him if I bump into him. I've got the same star sign as his sister, so its quite likely. Capricorn - you know what a drag that is......

Like well said man. The only lines we know are ley lines and the ones that my prep school teacher gave me for missing rugby. Like wow man forgot that we are waiting to see if The Hurdy Gurdy Men can come with their music and rotissary chicken stall (like free range organic fair trade chicken man) they come highly recommended by Ken Johnson. Also late addition is Bob Whorley and the Whalers from the Wash they do a mean song called 'I Shallott and the Serif' it's all about onions and typefaces, like far out man.
