yes, he has a very bad virus,and is very poorly,I dont know any more than that,but he is very ill.

Recovering rapidly from a bout of meningitis, still in hospital but cheerful and cracking jokes - and I think he's due for release on Wednesday if all goes well. Er, that's tomorrow, I suppose....

I would dearly love to know how he is.

A great folk musician and a lovely person- one of the best.

His web site mentions nothing.

Seems he's lucky they got him into hospital in time, and he recovered from quite poorly to feeling fine and good test results in a few days.
