Subject: ceilidh at the Abbey....tonight From: GUEST,Wayne Date: 01 Jun 07 - 04:46 AM We're having a ceilidh at the Abbey Inn, Newlay Leeds, tonight (June 1st), from 7:30ish. The excellent band Bandierra Rossa will be playing and their caller, Rob Baker will ensure that even the most cloth-eared, leaden-footed excuse for a dancer (...er me) can follow the steps. Great fun will be had by all. It's a fund-raising bash for a local 11 year old schoolgirl who is a fine gymnast with the potential to represent Britain at the 2012 olympics but who has no sponsorship and cannot afford to go to an important American training facility. There is no entry fee for the event but you will be encouraged to contribute £2 to the collection bucket. If you love to dance come down tonight. It should be fab.
